The Farmhouse Cafe and Creperie: A Rustic Culinary Gem in La Plata, MD

I will visit there again. As a vegetarian, I ate very well. Chocolate tea with whipped cream is excellent. My husband enjoyed his coffee. I do not have any complaints. Our server, I think Samantha was wonderful.

Located in LaPlata, MD, The Farmhouse is a place I'd surely recommend. Stationed in what was probably a real farmhouse, the food and service was excellent. My wife had salmon cakes, cheese eggs, grits, and English muffins, while I had blueberry pancakes, home fries, and turkey sausage. I'd definitely revisit next time I'm in town.

Great service from Deborah! A manager (I think named Ben) stopped by at our table and shared some great info about their sourcing and practices. Food was amazing. A bit of a wait due to busyness but we will definitely return.

Great place for breakfast. If you drive by you probably wouldn’t even notice it’s there. It’s a home concerted into a restaurant. Great atmosphere and service could not have been any better. Friendly and helpful and fast. The food was fantastic. The home fries were a little dry but that would be the only complaint I could think of. Other wise amazing food and experience. I would highly recommend giving them a try.

My husband and I have eaten at the Farmhouse a few times, it’s become our little Sunday breakfast date spot. The food is top notch, service is excellent, the rustic country home atmosphere makes you feel like you’re having a meal in grandmas dining room. The pricing is more than fair for the amount of food you get at amazing quality.

This place has a delightful and relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a laid-back dining experience. On Wednesday morning, I decided to treat myself for my birthday and chose this spot specifically for their wide selection of crepes, which I absolutely love. I was not disappointed. The restaurant's charming southern decor added to the overall pleasant ambiance, reminding me of a Texas pancake house. I must commend their fast service and the quality of the food. The crepes were fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. In addition to the pancakes, we also ordered a pecan crepe and an apple crepe, which were equally delightful. To complete our meal, we all enjoyed the fried potatoes and scrambled eggs. I would highly recommend this place for a satisfying breakfast or lunch experience. Furthermore, they offer some alcohol options and serve breakfast and lunch all day, which is a great convenience. If you're a fan of brunch, you'll be pleased to know that they even serve mimosas. The only downside I encountered was the lack of vegan options. I did search for them, but unfortunately, they were not available. However, for those who are not following a vegan diet, this spot is definitely worth a try. Also did i mention the prices are excellent.

Found this gem after church and was happy. I would suggest getting on the wait list before you go. The food is fresh and tasty. The whole family could find something from the menu, and we enjoyed everything. Service was great felt very welcomed

We wanted to try a local non-chain restaurant and this was one of our options. The restaurant is a former home that’s been renovated to accommodate customers. It’s comfortable and they have a decent parking lot. They give you the option to be added to a waiting list during busy times and I did that as we were driving there. Our wait to be seated was very short. Service was fine. The main attraction - their crepes were on my to try list. I’ve never had a crepe so my expectations were just go with the flow. It was very basic to me. They were a good size but it tasted like tortillas. Tortillas aren’t bad but that’s the taste it reminded of. I tried the Mexican crepe which was hearty but simple. I tried the crepe with the fruits and granola. Once again tasted like a tortilla with fruits and granola.
